where can i get door solenoids from?

    just need a web link or phone number? of where i can get them from because i dont want to start flushing the door handels until iv got all the bits.
    iv already got the boot release i got it from autoeurope cost me £18.67 all in and was delivered with in 24 hours which was very cool.

    try maplins matey. Make sure you get one with an on/off current though. and has a strong enough 'push' as it were.

    Heard Gaz (GSMotorsport) chatting about it once, think he knows where to get them from aswell, so may be worth speaking to him.

    i got my solenoid 4rm citroen it was only about 20 pound,which aint bad 4 brand new. also bhow do u flush the door handles, been looking 4 ages 2 do it but dunno how

    cool u got an order code or some thing and what car was it 4?
    as 4 flushing the door handels u need to remove the plastic handels [obvisly] and then welid a steel plate in place then use body filler over the top of that. the welding is the easyish bit but the filler sanding is the hard time comsuming bit.

    i got my C/l kit from maplin mate quite gay to install (you need to use the pins but upside down.. thats if u want it to be de-pinned...

    go to a scrappers and get a central locking solenoid and put a spring on it, my one works!!

    just use a boot solenoid in each door but only get THIS do not go for THIS the people that sell them are wankers as the 2 wire motors are about £2.50 each to the trade and is will not last. the first will last as that is what it is made for.

    cool thanxs 4 that iv already got this 1st one in those pics 4 my boot so ill just get another 2 and that should b it sorted.
