Help!! steering problems

  1. #1
I over shot a corner last week on a winding lane, no visual damage to any of the bodywork but the underside has took the brunt. Ive swapped the nearside wishbone, replaced the curbed alloy an had all the tracking done but the steering wheel is still down the right hand side. it drives straight but when i straighten up the wheel the car veers off to the left. Also it feels as if there is a force on the steering almost fighting what you do.
Has anybody else had this? Im running out of things to try and nothing else looked out of place when on the ramp today.

    Thanks for any advise

What else did you replace other than the wishbone, it sounds like you've bent a steering arm or worse still the strut.

The nearside wheel looked to be sitting further back than the drivers side, changing the wishbone had brought it back a bit but i think it should still sit a little further forward. The alloy was badly curbed so i get a replacement one of those, got both tyres ballanced and the tracking done today.

I just need to know what else to start looking at now because something really aint right with it. If it was a steering arm is this a major job?

Not really, if I were you i'd also be looking at the chassis leg and praying that you haven't bent it... Start from the outside (strut) and work inwards - wishbone (which you've done) steering arm, chassis leg.
