mk1 vtr fuel consumption

just a quick question. my vtr does about 110miles per £10 of petrol. that's driving normally, no motorway driving. is this about right?
the engine's done 104,000 miles, no rebuild (original clutch!!), so think it may be time for either a rebuild or a vts lump?

i dont get that like! with the vts lump in id get bout 80+ off a tenner!

wot year is the saxo? mine has done 67,000 miles an is a t plate 99! is that about average? the vts engine i have has done 56,000 off the same age saxo!

98 vtr. i don't really drive that hard to be honest (like a cock in other words) coz i've got 6 points.
80+ sounds about right for a vts if a vtr can do 110 i suppose.

i get around 200km's to a tenner (little over 100 Croatian kn, with price of around 0.7 quid/liter)
