well i've my furio for a year now and since then i have had to have a new strut wishbone droplinks driveshaft, because the owner before must have had a bump in it but it had not shown up in the hpi check, im wanting to lower it 40mm all round, but im afraid to, i mean it could disturb the problem again, dont know what to do.
Looking to lower

#1
-
#2presuming the repairs have been made to a decent standard and the car is straight then there shouldn't be any reason why some lowering springs would cause a problem
-
#3yeah the car is straight, i get a few little clunks now and then but i think that comes with every saxo.
-
#4Be very careful where you get it lowered as i took mine to a citreon specialist & paid £165 to have mine lowered and its on a slant, 1 side is lower than the other by quite a bit, its really noticeable
-
#6nah, get it lowered mate. there shouldnt be any problems aslong as its done correctly
-
#7well i got 40mm springs but i want to change them and get 50mms instead
-
#8stick with 40mm...
and do it ! get it lowered ! -
#9yeah but im thinking of getting rid of my vts alloys and putting 205 gti alloys on instead im not sure if 40mm would suit or 50mm
-
#1040mm is a mixture of handling and looks.
50mm is just for looks as the handling isnt as good -
#1140mm it is just gotta sort out my insurance. its due on the 22nd of this month im goin to be goin with norwich union simple cover but theres no way of declaring mods with them
-
#12im going to sell my 205 alloys.
are you interested ? -
#13my mate has a garage full sorry. im just gonna go up there and pick the best four
-
#15he's into his rallying he's got 205gti's coming out of his ears. think he's got 14 alloys all in total
-
#17they will be no problem mate id probley lower it a bit more than 40 mm do the back at least 60mm and some 50mm springs on the front
-
#19i dont think it is mine is 90 on back and about 60 at the front
