right im paint some vts wheels white, but every time the primer dries its cracking everywhere really deep cracks any 1 got any clues on why this is happening ???

#2wheels damp underneath? or silicone layer on it?
or maybe you need to sand down the underneath more first before applying primer
EDIT: make dure your spraying and allowing to dry in a warm area, as being in the cold outside, as it is now will not help things dry properly. -

its not damp and ive rubbed it right down just tryed it again and the cracks are just getting bigger
i would powder coat them but dont know where one is round my area -

#6which type of primer are you using, needs to be acid etch primer

have a look in the yellow pages for powder coaters too

never thought about looking in the yellow pages lmao how much rouhgly would they be each wheel on average ? -

powder coating for each wheel i reckon about 30 - 50 -
#9usually between £40-£60 a wheel. depending on finish and condition to be honest
