i've noticed that sometimes when i try to get a fast start that my car slacks a bit of power for about half a second and then it kicks in. i've been told this could be to do with the injectors and that they could be clogged up with bastard deposit shite. does anyone know if a standard mechanic can clean them or do i have to go to a specialist place and how much would it cost?
cleaning injectors?

#6definitely wouldn't have been the redex that caused that.
For the redex to work effectively, you need to use it every fill up for a while. Just one of those 99p small one shot ones that you can get in each tank. -
#7Just found this thread.. Has quite a good vid from keir in it and some nice pics of how well it cleans the shite out.
Another thing is Shell Optimax, as this has cleaning agents in it. So use that and something like redex, will work a treat.
