how hard is this to do and how much will i be expecting to pay??
and will i get alot of benefit from it

Depends on what you want to pay for an engine and are you planning on doing it yourself or paying for labour? labour will cost the most, you can pick up an engine between 300/400 and it isnt that hard to fit.
The difference is quite a lot, about 30bhp and is probably the best power per pound mod you can buy.

Btw, try to get an engine with the same type ecu as your current vtr. So if you have a three plug vtr engine get a three plug gti/vts engine. saves a lot of hassle.

do a search, gti and vts conversions are basically the same thing.
yes, 20 -30 hp depending which vtr you have = a lot of benefit

cheers bud much appreciated, i used to work in a garage and a boy in there does engines n tht he turbod my mates vts but it was a 106 gti engine it was mint but took him quite a while, i can get an engine for 450 with 59 thou on the clock witch isnt bad at all i thought,
