Power boost valve

    Does it really work or is it a load of crap? Any1 experienced using one of these? Cheers.

    i had one on my vtr and you could feel the difference but no one will agree with me

    My mate had one on his 1.8 corsa i thought it made a fair difference, didnt get flat spots.

    Its just a fuel pressure regulator and not that good a one at that. If you do need a higher pressure regulator you are better off getting a Peugeot Sport or GMC item.

    I'm about to shoot myself in the foot here, i know it - but;

    Personally i wouldn't touch them. I don't think they'll do any good whatsoever. However i have heard people being quite happy with them, ONCE they have been set up correctly.

    Lol I tend to agree with you on this gd16. I was just being a bit diplomatic about as I tend to piss people off when I start slagging things.

    if you do need an adjustable reg you can get webber fpr's off cosworths.

    I won't be so diplomatic they are pap.
    If you have flat spots the correct way to do it is with a remap of the fuel / ignition curve. Blindly ramping up fuel pressure is like taking a sledgehammer to a nut. Inappropriate
