Digital Dash

  1. #1
Many moons ago i had a astra digi dash fitted in a nova GSI.

Someone told me that the new C3 comes with a digi dash. Is this true or does any of the new citroen range for that matter. And more to the point Can this be fitted into a VTR or has this been done??

If its nonsense then i'll tell my mate to get the drinks in!

Another small matter, where can i get a genuine Handbook and how much would it be

    Thanks for any replies!

if u want a digital dash, theres a company called defi.com who sell digital display dashes. they are 100 times much better than the c3 or c2 digital dashes. displays top speed, o-60 time and has rev light that go up. These are not the one which are in the mags that u get with max power or revs magazine.

you could go the proper way and get a stack dash but thats uber bucks.

The problem with the newer citroens is that they dont use conventional wires etc, they use a BSI unit which would probably take a lot more jiggery and pokering than its worth to get it to work

stack dashes can run into thousands at least but you probably wont find anything better or cooler when looked by people in the know. The BSI unit is a completely different system im not sure of the exact details but its something like a single wire replaing most of the wiring loom and each device communicates in its own way down the single line to the ecu etc..
