Hi all, recently came round to getting my car lowered. Was wanting to go 80mm rear and 60mm front.
Got front springs on fine but when coming to rear one side of torsion bar came out after about 7 knocks with a lump hammer but the other side was seized solid.
After 45 mins of continuous hammering with a lump hammer and v.large spartan pole lol it would not move at all. Used about a can of WD-40.
Took to garage and got heat on it and still it wouldn't move so took an air hammer to it. After 10mins of air hammering the garage gave up and said i was fooked if it was coming out.
Therefore i'm stuck with the only option of buying a new rear axle and i happen to know these aren't cheap.
One of my mates said something about SPAX PSX adjustable rear springs for saxo vts' does anyone have any info?
