Celox Performance chip - "+15bhp"

   Good evening - I`ve managed to get my hands on one of these "+15 bhp" "Power modules" - its just a little black box that you have to piggy back onto your main processing unit. They say it should add approx 7 bhp to a saxo VTR with no side effects but it just sounds a little too good to be true. Has anyone connected one of these up and if so, was it worth it and how the hell do you do it! The instructions say its simple but they are pretty vague Thanks

   how much was it? my mate got one of these so called power modules and said it did work for about.......an hour and then it was shit!!!
   
   depends where u got it an how much it cost! if it cost u hundreds chances r it should do something but if was very cheap then i doubt it'll be any good im afraid to say!!

   if this is one of those ones that you have to put in line of the IAT sensor I think it is, then no, they are not worth it.. Effectively they adjust the way the car thinks its temp is, therefore increasing fuel, and makes you think car is more powerful..
   
   If its not one of these, then my bad, but chances are they are ! and they are shite!
   Shouldn't be allowed to sell them, as they can be bought from maplins for pennies.

   Yup - you`re meant to connect it to the IAT sensor! Its amazing the garbage you can buy off E-bay if you really search around!! (it was a fiver but its not just a resistor - I suspect its a resistor in a little Shiny black plastic box!) - thanks to both of you for your help - I`ll ditch it and go for the expensive (and reliable) option.

   yeah it is what my mate bought! cost him 2 quid off ebay!! said it did work but only for a very short while an intermittently!!!
   
   good decision ditch it! u cant get any decent power mod without paying hundreds!

   I bought one ages ago. Only cost me £3 so didnt mind.
   just wanted to see what midless crap it was really.
   Took it out the envelope, saw what it was.. chucked it in the bin !
   
   I'd class it as the worst mod anyone could buy.. closely followed spinner wheel trims...
