   Saving up for Raceland 4-2-1 Manifold and Supersprint Full System#
   
   What Kind of performance increase would I get on my 1.4i Westcoast ?

   not much mate i would say not much more than 5 or 6 bhp

   You wont see a huge difference with those mods...about 7-10bhp at best tbh
   
   What cam have you got? (cam as its a westie)
   
   May as well go for that cambelt but it wont make a huge difference anyways over a standard belt

   New belt you may as well just grab that one from cam
   
   Uprate your cam after fitting the manifold and full exhaust

   in your opinion once thats fitted and Manifold and Exhaust what next , do u think that new manifold is necessary ? Or Keep standard ?

    Not necessary but if you are looking to go down the performance root like i am then you really want to start looking into them
    
    A SuperSprint Stainless Steel manifold with straight through exhaust will always give the best gain combined with an enclosed induction kit

    I noticed bit of a difference on my Westy when i fitted the 4-2-1..
    
    Engine didnt seem to be working as hard to go up hills etc..

    Only a slight difference in the quality but the performance will be pretty much the same

    cool will do that thanks , will new manifold plus centre pipe make a noise diff with magnex box cos it aint loud enough at the mo but do have a leak ?

    they cut my original centre pipe that connected the back box to the cat pipe how would i connect the box to the new supersprint centre pipe would i have to do anything ?

    Why not slide a VTR engine in there mate? Pick them up for next to nothing, full service etc.
    
    theres 15-23hp gain and more importantly, more torque, depending on which engine you use.

    If you wanted a lot more sound and its not time for your MOT i would go for the racing pipe from Kam that completely replaces the CAT

    Well finchy has gone from 75bhp to 90 so what you think? As for me, i noticed healthy gains, just dont be expecting too much m8!

    hey bud i have a raceland on my westie with a few other bits and bobs which compliment each other to give the result of 94bhp so not too bad imo

    If you just want a better sound then I'd fit just the race exhaust only. Saves money on the fitting costs and will still give you some performance benefit too
