   Hi, my aerial was torn off the roof of my car the other day leaving only the metal stub part (where it joins the roof) exposed and found the aerial lying by the side of the car. How easy is it to remove the metal fixing from within the car? Has anyone done this before?

   If you pop out the light from inside the car (underneath the aerial) you will see the fixing nut for the aerial. Simply undo, remove and replace new aerial, do back up, put light back in. Jobs a good un

   good stuff cheers, do you know if the light pops out easily cause im good at breaking stuff and saxos tend to be built like crisp packets

   yeah, use a flat head screwdriver and prise it out from the end, will just pop out. You may find that you pop out the end that has the connector block for the electrics. In that case just do the other end as well.

   put some clear sealent around it when you fit the new one, will save you doing it at a later date.
