Induction Kits (moved)

I did put this in the engine part of the forum but it didnt seem to get much attention, so i have moved it here because this is where everyone seems to be.

Im looking to get an induction kit, im mainly after the sound so which one would be best.
My car is a 98 1.1 Peugeot 106.
Where is the best place to get one and how much would it cost?
Also how do i know whether i need the oval end or the round end?

Get a K&N induction kit, if your just after the sound then yes, if for power get a green enclosed one.

K&N are about £80 and the green enclosed about £ 140

get a green cotten open air filter cost 60 quid for GS Motorpsorts.. i recommend it.. very loud..

Very easy matey, im a complete novice and the instructions were a piece of piss, even if they were all in german you could understand them (as there is pics) lol

get an open green cotton one! fucking loud for what it is, louder than the k&n. i got mine brand new for £40 on ebay!

piece of piss to fit, takes 2 mins.

At the moment i've got a Pipercross induction kit, although i havent noticed much in terms of power gains i have noticed a more aggressive engine induction note.

pipercross 4 sound mate! i had one on my old vtr engine was awesome sound!

i got a 1.1i wid a pipercross. the sound is f***ing sikkkk but performance is not noticable. im on my way to orderin a grren airfilter for performance and sound. i got a 5" jap box aswell n da induction kit makes it pop when speedying and then slowing down in same gear. oh n u mite wana try adding an extra cold air hose, better for engine and also improves noise.

the induction kit wont make the exhaust pop!!

well it does 4 me. i tried it with the standard factory air filter and it will only pop when i quikly turn the car of n turn it bak on.but with the induction kit it makes it pop when im driving it.i thought ti wudnt but it does?
