Spraying Interior

  1. #1
Some of you may have seen my other thread in this section bout swapping my leather interior for some sports front seats.

Well the plan is to leave the back seats out for track. Depending on the condition of the paint work underneath the back seats im gonna wanna respray it. Is there any special prep work that Im gonna need to do before hand?

Is it just a case of cleaning it with some hot soapy water and then spraying it black, or will it need primering, spraying and then some sort of a laquer?

Just a couple of things to clear up:

I start by cleaning it- scotch bright im assuming is what I clean it with?

Whats the peclean solvent for (ive never heard of it- think its spelt wrong cause cant even google it)?

The tac rag is to make sure that the area to be painted is clean and doesnt have any dust or dirt left on it?

Then i jus spray it the colour i want? i dnt need to primer it or apply a laquesr after?
