Bonnet Pins! Rep given!

   As my bonnet cable has snapped, now is the ideal time to invest in some bonet pins.
   
   But how do you attatch them, and how many do i need?

   You need two. Get a set of flush fitting aerocatch bonnet pins. You will need to cut through your bonnet - you can do it will a metal drillbit and it comes with a template. You will probably rivet them to the bonnet.

   Normal ones bolt through the the slam panel. As said above, you will need to drill through your bonnet. I'll get pics when its light if needed

   fiz onto slam panel, hole needs to be made in the bonnet it for the pin to go through and then the clip is fixed on the bonnet. Do it up and bobs your uncle. Hard to get right.

   remember to get ones that can be locked (if they differ at all) otherwise people would be able to open the bonnet and nick bits from inside

   haha, wouldnt be a good thing to get into your car and realise the engine was gone
