Right there is a saxo west coast for sale and i am really interested in it and i was wondering is it much harder to do a vts engine conversion to a westcoast than a vtr would be?
    Any help appreciated,Jace

exactly the same, the shell is the same..

only thing youd miss out on are rear disk brakes mate, other than that no other benefits in that situation

some decent brakes upfront and u wont notice the drums on back, as it only does around 15% braking anyways
  5. #5
very true, but drums look gayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Hate mine
  6. #6
so you cant change the rear brakes?
  7. #7
you can but you need to buy, fit and plumb in the brake lines of a whole rear VTR/S axle

Which is a pain in the arse

    Yes.

The only logical reason for even thinking about it if:

    A. You have a very modded westy

    or (as in this case)

    B. You're 17 and want to have a VTS without paying VTS insurance. Which is a pain when you crash

    Wanna VTS? Buy a VTS

Sorry i didn't explain it right,My plan was to mod it on the styling side of things until i am 19(2years NCB,hopefully)then drop a vts engine in it.Didnt mean put a vts engine in it and not tell the insurance company!

Personally I'd get a westcoast and stick to removable mods, like wheels and ICE etc, then drop it onto an S later on
