Time for new clocks??

   Hi
   
   I want to update the clocks of my 98 vtr and was just wondering if anyone knew if the new style clocks will work as a direct replacement. I was unsure as they have electronic mileage etc.

   Dont think so buddy, im getting my mk1 converted to mk2 clocks, but im getting a compleate engine and ECU put in aswell.
   Think thats the only way to do it, as it runs off a diffrent wiring loom.
   
   could maybe get them working without the digital milage working

   I wanted to do this to mine 99 vtr..but i dont think it is posible..so iam thinking maybe just buy some white dials? with the blue lights? there on ebay at around £20..not sure on how i would fit them thoue lol
