   Feel like i want to dig a 6 foot hole and lay down in it and let someone bury me in the ground ,
   
   well for some reason the sax has decided it dont like me anymore so, he decides to P*** oil from anywere he can , now i dont really want to take pictures of my crappy engine bay , but i know it will help , but general jist is , oil coming from rocker top , and it spitting it anywere it can , so if rickyrpm reads this , pre-warning for 2moro its gonna be ugly under there , anyone be able to help me out

   it has been leaking for awhile but i could cope with that as i was gonna get that done in time , changed the rubber seal about 3 months ago and it did stop , now the newst oil u can see if the brown oil :@ , thats the main problem now

    thats looks like my old mk2 fiesta 1.1 engine covered in oil hehe it was the breather that the oil was coming from on it so dunno if same on urs if not the bolts ont he head havent come loose or cross threaded so not tightened?

    actually, after looking at your pics carefully, where the oil is getting, i'd put money on it being the breather... if it was leaking from anywhere else, it wouldn't get where it has.. (within reason)

    i had oil the exact same place but for some reason the seal went on the dipstick and oil pisssed out from there

    looks to be coming from breather as well as the gasket and poss dip stick. best bet is to give it a clean and then run it and see where the fresh oil comes from. worst comes to the worst i've got a vtr engine in the garage, or there will be shanes camed vtr engine soon as hes havin a vts conversion.
    or i could sort a vts one out for you.

    i would take the rocker cover off and put a new seal on and then i would check the breathers because it looks like the car has been breathing really heavily and pressuring the oil up and out of the nearest escape EG the breather filter and just a thought maybe the oil has been topped up too much that can cause the oil alover the place

    Why dont you just take it to a car garage and get it checked out? because as far as everyone has tryed to help on here so far there has been no deffinate answer unless im blind ? if its still drivable jsut get it checked out at a local car garage its the easiest way...

    dont bother fitting a new seal, just take the cover off and seal it with some sealent.
    
    to me it doesnt look like the breather as the oils infront of it not behind(think of the wind?).
    
    if its not the rover seal then prob the dip stick, does it push out after a hard drive and are the seals ok?
    
    you really need to clean the engine bay to pin point wheres its coming from, y dont u get a can of gunk and clean the hell out of it. you can get everything wet appart from coil pack, leads and plugs(altho they can be dryed in the oven

    dipstick mine done that for no apparent reason but it popped the dipstick up and blew oil everywhere i simply serviced it and cleaned the engine bay and replaced the O rings on the actual dipstick and it hasent done it since

    is that not a 16v oil cap? im sure the 8v 1s are different.
    
    that didgy filter on the breather probably isnt helping either.

    tbh.........when you see an inch round hole in your bottom end where a conrod has been pushed through then open up the sump to find mangled piston and conrod......now thats bad lol

    i used to have an old golf gti that used up more oil than petrol, turns out it was squirting out of the dipstick tube. it also had a knackered head gasket which wont have helped lol but it does look like its around the dipstick area maybe take a look at that?

    thanks i did that about 10 mins ago mate , and it is the shit stick lmao , after i lightyly cleaned the areas other day and have run it for 4 days now and it is from shitstick area

    id bet my life it the bloody o ring on the dip stick the fact its been over filled and the rocker cover got filled with pressure then decided to barf on the rocker covers its not the head mate trust me i can fix it but i anywhere needs leeds ????

    That does look like it has come from the rocker cover seal to me. Was the rocker cover correctly torqued down when the new seal was fitted. And what is that blue tape doing around the breather pipes?
