A raceland will go straight onto my MK2, looking into buying one myself, i was told it was the mk1 that needed it moved! all depends on the manufacturer of the manifold IIRC.

Buy one you want, if it needs a new smaller oil filter, they are only about £5-£8 new.

That's because you have a VTS, it's only the mk2 VTR that the oil filter needs moved on. This is because nearly all aftermarket manifolds were made to fit the mk1, thus why the mk2 usually requires some adjustments.

oh yeah! i do forget sometimes, ive got so used to it after owning a VTR, although Emma's VTR is looking nice! And she would agree with me

Cant you use an r5 filter? its smaller and therefore wont hit the manifold. I remeber reading it somewhere.

Its the 2001+ vtr that is the awkward one, it has an oil filter element rather than a oil filter can type one!
