I have a mk1 vtr and i was wanting to now if a renault 5 turbo will fit my car or the best 1 that will best siut my car any help plz!!!!!

#3There are a few different turbos fitted to Renault 5 turbos, what one are you talking about? Basic answer is not a standard turbo actuator setup. No matter what R5 it came off.
If I assume its a R5 GTT phase 2. It flow well with from 100 to around 120 bhp. Now your engine already has around 100bhp. So already the turbo is looking to small. Now the R5 we are looking at come stock with a 10psi actuator. That very basically speaking would be trying to make a VTR run at about 170bhp. Just ask any R5 tuner what turbo you want if your running 170bhp and not one will say stock.
That stock R5 turbo would be to small for a the Saxo 1.4. As a educated guess the closest would be Saxo 1.1 engine. This is as the MA engine is a lot more advanced and flows a lot more than the Renault lump. But even then the R5 turbo is very old and out dated. Most of them are totally fucked. But that is assuming its a stock phase 2 turbo some R5 have a even smaller turbo. You would be fare better getting a modern turbo for a few hundred -
