Rally exhaust?

   I just heard a 106 with a rally exhaust, it sounded identical to a high performance rally car...i know it was a gti and packs some power, but is there any way i could get a raspy rally exhaust on my 1.4 furio?? not even sure if there called rally exhaust, but if someone oculd point me in the right direct it would be great..... thanks

   I have an exhaust made to the same sorta spec as the Group N omp exhausts and its raspy as fook..
   
   Smaller tailpipes help the raspy tone aswell..

   it was most likely a pugsport, ive got one and my car sounds like a rally car lol. i think the supersprint system that kamracing sells is probably your best bet.

   If your after a cheap, rapsy, but very loud exhaust, go straight through the back box with a piece of scaffold tube!
   
   I have a 2 1/4" ashley centre section with a silencer, no cat, straight through to the back of the car!

    I havent got a vid of it as it is now, but this is what it was like before i got the tail pipe made up. Its much smoother now, and the horrible rattle has gone, which occurred at 2500rpm...

    There aren't any of our supersprint backboxes available second hand as we've only just started selling them (supersprint make them exclusively for us).
    £214 delivered for the whole system if you buy new . You may be able to find the race centre section 2nd hand and combine with one of the race backboxes.

    Stay away from jap cans my friend! The supersprint back box and race centre section will give you a rasp. A 4-2-1 will also help...

    a jap can would completly ruin the sound.

    I have a janspeed 4-2-1 decat manifold, ashley centre section with an intermediate silencer to give me a bit of back pressure, then i have a pipe running straight through to the back of the car, with no back box at all

    nothing can beat the noise of a pugsport !
    
    yes everyone goes on about the supersprint, and they are great but
    the pugsport has such a distinctive sound.

    The pugsport is by far one of the best exhaust out there.....for the 106.
    
    The supersprint sounded pretty good when Si went past me yesterday!
    
    but theres nothing better than a Pugsport on a 16v!
    
    Especially the older magnex version!

    Pugsports are hard to come by like, and on a furio don't think it would sound quite like what it does on a vtr/s

    Pugsport are easy to come by..

    Heres mine. Its the straight through one, with nothing but a centre silencer
    
    Its too loud for the camera to handle, so it doesnt sound too great, but it sounds awesome in the flesh

    ive got a full supersprint on mine but i dont think its the race version. Its quite a mellow low hum sound when ticking over or driving sedatley but boomy as hell at motorway speed, i'd much prefer something raspier.

    the race one has a 50mm tailpipe. Supersprint make them exclusively for us
