Raceland...Any Good?

  1. #1
I'm looking to get a new manifold and induction kit for my VTS and have done a few searches and seen a lot of people mentioning this Raceland stuff.

How many people use it and is it any good? Seems very cheap so needed to ask

Next, whats the best bet to go for...4-2-1 or 4-1? I realise the difference between the both but i was just wondering if one is reccomended over the other.

I saw a post that reccomended getting the 4-1 for the VTR, does this apply to the VTS??

    Thanks,
    Gaz.

its thin metal, average welds but it flows really well and is comparable with the btb when QEP tested it on their engine dyno

Yea i had a raceland on my gti. Put a green filter in it and you wont have any problems. Much better than an open air induction kit.

as above get the green filter, and if your handy make some brackets for the slam panel cos they are such a shit fit !

lol i have no brackets, my brackets are cable ties, lol !

they do the job tbh, but its not exactly looking great, when i have more time in the summer i prob make a couple of 'L' shape brackets ! fill be a much more secure fit and look a tad better.

it depends on your engine. On the one we saw the BTB became a limiting factor before the raceland
