lowering

    Hi all!

    Need some help..i want to lower my vtr but i live on a farm so the roads are crap! i was thinking i could prob get away with 35mm at most..what should i be buying to lower it..i dont reali want a half assed job thoue..

    To lower a car, you will need springs and shocks, unless you have a suspension kit, it would pob be best to get a garage to do it.

    You will need 2 springs for the front and then have the torsion bar adjusted to match

    Doubt he will need shocks if hes only going 35mm

    35mm get eibach pro-kit, two front springs, then lower torsion bar to 40mm at teh back, will handle great for springs.

    you can get away with lower than that prob, the drive to my house is awful, but ive never caught on anything and im down 50mm.

    best way to check is go down the drive and drive near the bits you think is bad and look under the car and see how much clearence there is, (this is wat i did), you'll be suprised how much room you have.

    Cheers Hopcraft! i dont think i get get that low tbh with you..i borrowed my granddads bora sport a few weeks back after golf and caught it a few times.. so dont want to risk it..but i may go out tomoro if its dry? an have a look
