#2Anything can be adapted to work mate, but it takes time and money
-
#3i would think a turbo that size would be almost useless, you would also have to uprate the rods, pistons, management and that over 2k just to start with.
-
#4As for the lag! Well...
-
#6And that bang is not the bang of your head hitting the headrests and it is not merely an adjective describing the sudden surge of power.
Its BANG! There goes my engine!
Or maybe even...
BANG, ive crashed! -
#8you want to get aturbo sized for the power your expecting to run. no point going too big, and daaaaaaaaangerous going too small.
-
#9firstly, what the hell is a t3/t4 stage 3 when its up and dressed, as Stage "EX" can mean lots of things, mainly depending how much money the person who is selling it wants to make!!!
Whats the compressor and turbine sizes, AR etc etc? And theoretical maximum flow? -
#10he means he's been looking on the xs power website i think
im sure its .50 cold and .83 hot. could be getting mixed up with another turbo though.
-
#11I have used the MR2 kit they produced.
Utter poo.
Workmanship was TERRIBLE!
In my opinion
-
#12i think i might go for a precision or turbonetics unit.
-
#13This for your nova?
-
#14yeah.
why does this forum not let you post 1 word answers? lol -
#15lol i dont know its a bit anal!
Consider turbo technics. Used a hybrid CT26 on an mr2 from them, after they fixed the boost creep it was a bloody amazing turbo. Anda very good price too match.
We can source spec'd turbos from them so if you want i can give them a shout.
