SAX MAX suspension!

   Also put this in my progress thread...
   
   Bought 2 front suspension off of last years SAX MAX CUP VTR's, off of a mechanic you is working on the cars this year. The suspension used last year is not allowed this year so i bought a set off him for £70!
   
   Consists of a GAZ shock, then a 110mm in length spring, with 3 coils and almost twice as thick as a normal spring, so it is stiff as FUCK, can't move it with hands. Then a base plate sits on top, the a "helper" spring on top of that which joins on to an adapter for the top mounts!
   
   Not sure on how much it will lower the car by as it is not measure against the standard ride height but 110mm is the lowest they run last year so im guessing around 70-75mm!
   
   Will get pics etc in the daylight tomorrow or thursday when i see him!
   
   Reckon i'll have one of the best handling cars with a few aditions wike strut braces etc......]]

   Then you loose the ability to use your spine shortly afterwards lol

   so your running very high poundage front srings and standard rear torsion bars? sounds like understeer heaven to me.

   I have to agree with williams, you really should get thicker torsion bars. Also better bushes are needed as standards will take a beating with it being so stiff.

   Will be sorting out the rear toooo..
   
   Trying to get my self a VTR/S rear beam so i have disc brakes on the rear too and will get some thicker torsior bars! Got all new bushes too!

    I would like someone to suggest a better sus setup for around £400 than Bilstein..
    
    There's also a reason why people like myself rave about Bilstein, its because they are good..
