Spring fitting... Funny one!

   Does it matter which way round you fit a progressive spring?
   
   I have currently got one with the close coils at the top and one woth the close coils at the bottom!
   
   Far from ideal, but does it make any difference?
   
   Could it be causing my knocking noise??

   Would most probably be best both the same way, as long as they both fit properly i dont think it does tbh..

   If i go round a right corner then a left corner, will it be stiffer one way than the other??

   I would get them changed tbh. The coils should be close at the top.
