annoyng alloys

  1. #1
I brought my car with already a pretty decent set of alloys, after having it for some time i decided its time for a new set.

after about 2 or 3 weeks looking i still have no progress. i am after a euro looking deep dish in preferbaly black with a chrome rim such as the wolfrace spyder's. but i just want a set that i can buy with tyres with out and arch modifications and just get me local kwik fit to put on for me! none of this buying spacers etc..!

obviously i couldnt get a 17" without getting arches rolled but 16s would be perfect.
has anybody got 17 or 16s with out any arch mods?

i know i sound like a total newbie and i am sorry for that! but after hours of looking on sites such as POTN i am now crying for help!

    any suggestions?

    cheers guys

    1. why waste money gettin quickfit to put wheels on? takes 5 mins yourself.
    2. anyone will tell you, you CANNOT have 16/17 inch wheels and call them euro
    3. 16's go on without archwork
    4. quite alot of wheels do need spacers, not that exspensive and no harder to fit.
    5. ebay, demon-tweeks
    1. dont waste money gettin quickfit to put wheels on (so important its repeated as an order)

Yeah, go for 16's. I have 16's with a 195/40/16 profile tyre, i don't get any problems with these. My car is lowered 50mm.

    woaahh ok

i would go to quick fit to get them balanced and on safely, and i said that i wanted a euro looking alloy in 16".

but demon tweeks is great thanks for that.

    New wheels should come balanced!

Its easy to change a wheel by your self!
Good practice if you ever get a puncture!
