#2There are many out there that are brighter and more white/blue than the standard fried egg effect Saxo bulbs but you'll never get that HID look unless you were to go for the conversion.
However, have a look on Autobulbs Direct's website. I get all my bulbs from there and if you spend over £15, you'll get a free pair of sidelight bulbs
The headlight bulbs I had on my Saxo were the Philips Blue Vision ones. They were very good.
Btw, just make sure that the bulbs you buy ARE road legal as there are many off-road ones, especially from Halfrauds. -
#3Halfrauds lol!
Thanks for your help. I did get some but they look crap! Same as cheapo ones.
Ill check out the philips ones, are they a blue/brightwhite looking bulb?
-
#4Yes. As quoted from their website...
"Philips have created a very popular and very effective Xenon upgrade bulb. Being made of Quartz glass, these bulbs are very durable and will not even shatter due to water when hot! The light emitted is a pure white light with a slight blue tint. With up to 30% improved vision these bulbs are a great combination of style and vision." -
#5Cheers mate. Super helpfull.
Gonna order sum right now!
cheers.

#6Changing the bulbs is a piece of piss too. I'm assuming you know how to do that?
-
#7changing bulbs is easy. just try not to touch the glass of the bulbs you are putting in. i've got the phillips blue vision ones. they are good. they give what i'd call a 'classy' white light. not those skanky blue ones that are clearly not road legal!

#8I have got nightbreaker bulbs, they are the best i have ever had. Here is a thread about them.
