they just stop the line flexing under braking mate, therefore you get a bit more feel to the pedal

Ive got them they do make a difference

I fitted mine at the same time as my GTI180 setup. Feels solid but i have more travel in the pedal. Ill get a bigger mc soon so im sure it will get better. For what they cost, i would rec them if your upgrading to bigger brakes.

if your current brakelines are good condition you wont notice a thing. They look shiney and are resistant to stones and sharp objects but thats about it.

    Yes and yes

eBay and looooads of other places sell them buddy
Bled my whole brake system and re-filled with Pro Brake Fluid from Motul before adjusting the brake pedal

Definately harder and only £50 so may aswell but you really want a set of uprated calipers discs and pads such as Hi-Spec who do a 4-pot kit or Wilwoods

The difference there is amazing and the car handles/performs like a dream
Cost is obviosly higher but i would go for these and get braided lines in the package

when i put my bigger brakes on, i upgraded to goodridge braideds and some AP fluid and the difference they make is unbelievable. When slowing down gradually from higher speeds theres no fade/expansion at all... as mentioned above though if your going for a brake swap (GTI180/GTi6) then get a bigger master cylinder otherwise you'll get a little more pedal travel. Next on my massive list of jobs to do to the bloody thing...

Radbullit when you say adjust the pedal do you mean with that thing under the bonnet on the back left on the brake bar?

I'm runnin 14'' steelies atm so would a brake upgrade be that worth while cause i wouldn't get much bigger brakes under my wheels would i?
