french number plates

   ive been looking for a website that make genguine french pressed plates all the site ive seen dont have the right font PLEASE can some body tell me

   I think they still preview the plates with the "D" band (for German) but when ordering, you can request the "F" band.

   I got mine from there. I keep the original ones in the boot just incase.

   So what actually happens if your caught with french plates on? Do you just get told to change them back to standard?

   what you get is a lovely sit in the back of a police car whilst they ask you whats wrong with your plates...
   then they fill in a form which is sent to dvla stating the plate is wrong for the car, so if you get pulled again with the wrong plates on (french) you can get a mximum of £1000 fine.
   you then leave the car £30 lighter....
