gearbox oil?????

hey guys, quick question here, my oil light come on the other day so i have just put about 4 litres of gtx magnatec in and now it dont come on anymore,

BUT, i was having problems gettin my car into 2nd gear from 1st mainly, it was very stiff, but now ive topped the oil up its going in perfectly fine and is alot smoother, does the engine oil go into the gear box??

stupid question maybe but i dont no!

answer is no, to check gear box oil level get under the car, you will see a lower drain plug and a one above it,

The is a black cap on tap of the gearbox under the air intake. Thats teh filler cap you fill the gearbox till it starts coming out the second drain plug, when it stops coming out the 2nd drain plug thats when it has 2ltrs in it

Obviously the car needs to be sitting level.

strange that jst since av topped me engine oil up the gearbox is much smooth and i aint having a bother with 2nd gear anymore! oh well its guna be gettin a major service soon anyways so that should sort it out!

a worn clutch can do that

i think it could be the clutch as my bite point it gettin closer to where it sits without pressin it!!!
