HID's

   Does anyone have HID's in their standard headlamps or angel eyes?
   If so, can you post some pics, specs of the bulbs etc and where you got them from?
   Also, where do i stand with MOT and police issues with a resonable set of HID's in standard headlights?

   Yep, got em in the std headlights. Apparently the angeleyes melt with HIDs, yet to see proof but ive seen it happen with other cars angels

   Some places they pass MOT some they dont, but its prob best to put the stds back in at MOT time. Police have no trouble with mine, driven past loads of police with em on and theyll pull you for anything round here.

   cheers mate. they easy enough to fit to standard headlights?
   where to the ballasts etc go?
   are yours bi-xenon so they work on high and low beam?

   yeah theyre not too bad, you have to take apart some of the bulb housing to get the bulbs in though they dont just slide in like the normal bulbs do.
   
   Theres holes in the slam panel which Ive used to support the ballast holders.
   
   And yeah theyre Bi-Xenons

   yea they melt angels
   
   in the process of trying to fit original mk2 headlight lense to angels but they are slightly differrnt shape which is odd!!
