    Exhaust manifold VTS
Going to modify the VTR throttle cable..

You need the VTS hoses.. I have the VTS bottom hose, I havent got the top one, so going to hack up my existing bottom VTR hose..

Yeh sounds like you have everything pretty much to go - I think you'll need a vts throttle cable, for £20 it's not something I'd look to 'bodge'.

Also, you will need to plumb in a fuel return hose so the vts engine runs spot on, I don't think 98' vtr's already have them.

I have just put a vts engine in my car and just managed to get the engine and box out through the top of the car. It was the power steering hoses that needed some persuasion to let the box out !

    Good luck with it !

This fuel return hose, is there a 'How To' guide anywhere? Or can someone give me a more precise instruction..

VTS throttle cable I'll have to pick up from main dealer, but motorfactors tell me they are all the same..

    Thanks Alot!

i did a thread on it with some pictures and theres a few others if you search, if you get stuck pm me and ill be hppy to help you, i took my engine out through the top with a lift but the bonet and the front bumper etc were removed to make access easy, you will need throttle cable ideally it makes it easier its a twat to get out but not difficult once the lumps out.

as for the eninge mounts you will need the mount off a vts for the 1 under th ecu, the bottom rad ose off the tr can be cut shorter to make it fit, the fuel return will need plumbing in i used a piece of halfords fuel hose and routed it back to the car under the carpet alongside the fuel hose to the rail.

any probs pm me and ill try to help

PM Sent.. its this fuel return that I'm trying to get my head around.. where it connects to on the fuel tank and the engine.. where to run it, how to run it, type of fuel, size of pipe, what fixings to use..
