boring out the vts engine???

    can bore very very slightly but the cyclinder walls are already pretty thin so not really worth it

    ok m8 thanks. i have on my car a full magnex system with the magnex decat and a 4 2 1 stainless manifold with a simota induction kit with a green filter cud u point me in the rie direction of wht to upgrade next??

    personally i would ony bore the cylinders if they are dammaged or have pitting etc... even then it would be a tiny amount as the vts cylinder walls are very thin so u can only bore it out a minute amount just enough to fit a slightly oversized piston when rebuilding etcc.. these new cars are not made like older cars that were thicker and could be bored from a 1800cc to a 1900cc etc...

    depends how deep your pockets are, a good oversized brake setup would be good so u can stop later and better, i've seen standard 205s on track kill other 205s with engine mods jsut because they can brake later into corners etc... or you could start to save for a set of cams and a remap as thats realy the next stage as you have the breathing and exhaust mods allready

    theres sum grooved discs and green stuff pads going on ebay for around £120 tht isnt to bad is it?? now for a decent remap and cams your talking 600 plus??

    For decent brakes i recommend getting a oversized conversion (standard vts brakes are 247mm) such as a 266mm conversion from a 306 which is around £150 for used calipers, pads and dics, or a 283mm conversion from a gti6 which is around £190 for used calipers, pads and discs. Or if you can afford it some proper 4 pot calipers would be best but dont come cheap, do a search u will find all you need to know

    as for vts cams, the cams range in prices but some can be bought cheap in group buys off here, but depends on make and cam profile but prices range from £250-£600 for cams then a remap will be another £400-500
