redline?

   my car seems to be struggling to reach the redline in 3rd gear. any ideas what this could be?

   sorry its not actually a saxo its an rs tubro, used to pull really well all the way to the redline

   i had a fiesta rs turbo and the exact same prob happened i took it in gt motorsport in stoke and had new leads and plugs and had it set up again!!! once i had that dun the problem was solved.

   cheers mate i'll have a look at this tomorrow then, i thought it could have been like a misfiring problem, just feels like it runs out of steam and thats as fast as its prepared to go!

   it could be alot of things really m8 cud b a slight leak in one of the vacume houses but i wud go for a gd set of leads and plugs and get the fueling set up properly. and if tht doesnt cure it have a look for any split houses. thts alls i can say

   I wouldnt bother trying, if it wont reach full RPM theres a problem dont keep trying.
   
   give it a FULL service from top to bottom. If that doesnt solve it then report back and we will look into other possible causes.

    very how do i put this unreliable those things at the best of times so if i was you drive it slow n get it checked
