What can be done to a 1.4 mk1 engine?

well there are the obvious mods such as enclosed air filter, full system,de-cat and im sure somewhere like powerflow could make you a manifold (although im not sure if gmc do one????).

again im not sure if u can buy a new set of cams but i think u can get the original ones re-profiled, also i think u could have an ecu re-map or a piggy back such as the dastek!

not sure if anyone produces a turbo conversion for the 1.4 but im sure a custom one could be done!

manifold should be the same as the vtr, worth a ring to check first though.

can do the same things to a 1.4 as any other engine

dan - carworx do a turbo kit for the 1.4 8v engine i have seen the pictures on SSC of it done on a quicksilver which i'm presuming is the same engine as the furio/westie? have a search on there for it quite an old thread though.

yep carworx do, as do Cituning.
GMC make a manifold specically for the 1.4 alloy block.

Enclosed filter and full exhaust with manifold is what I suggest.
