depends wot he wants from the car? looks then 60mm. but if he'd like to have slightly better handling then id go for 50m or 40mm. although for handling he'd be better going for a full suspension kit.

If his car doesnt have a different front bumper then he will still get over speed bumps on 60mm drop because i do if i go over them real slow

ive got mine lowered 50mm on gmax suspension kit, got the full lot, dont think standard shocks will last long after being dropped 50mm, i have standard vts alloys on and have no problems with speed bumps at all

standard shocks will last long as ive had mine lowered 60mm on the standard shocks 4 over 2 years an there fine! although for better handling it would be wise to change them.
