Wanna get some new window winders now, mayb some chrome ones? -

#11was a small local fabric shop, they do stuff for making curtains, cushions etc. Just went in there, got a metre of this stuff 4 a tenner, and the spray was this special stuff 4 sticking fabric 2 fabric.
I would reccomend lookin 4 a local fabric shop and asking about it instore!
Old material comes off suprisingly easily and the glue sticks better once its been removed. -
#12if i cant find ne decent stuff in ne of the shops round here, ne chance of sending u the cash and u getting it, then sending it over??
-
#13can you guys not see the main pics? if not how do you post a pic into a message as they r showin up on my screen.

FINALLY got the pics to work! I know some of u have seen em b4 but those who aint tell me wat u think!!
Thax -
#23So do you just peel of the old fabric from the doorcard or does the doorcard come apart then peel it off. I only ask this coz it looks like the fabric is very neat round the edges and wondered how you do that ???
-
#24First cus the material section away from the plastic. Then rip the old material off and glue the new stuff on. All u got left to do is glue the new material bit to the plastic lugs (I used a gluegun).
Im gna try and make some seatcovers next although ive seen a few disasterous attempts in my time
-
#25dont make seat covers retrim the seats, its not that difficult if you have access to a sewing machine and some heavy duty needles
-
#26make your own parcel shelf too sparco had that and it looked ace
-
#27yeah a parcelshelf is def in the pipeline, will do one in the same blue leather eventually.
Got induction kit on the way aswell
-
#28Its all go now then
-
#29very smart!
u thinking about doing the dash? -
#30yeah i would love to smoothe it all down and spray it silver! Does anybody know how hard it is to remove the entire dash from the car??
-
#31its not so hard, its more annoying. Oh and you will be left with some dodgy little torx screws which you have no idea where they came from ! Sods law!
-
#32I wanna take my dash apart... Anyone know how?
-
#33i wud wana do dat aswell.but it seems to risky takin all of it off,cuz i knwo if i was to put it back, it woud start ratteling n maybe even fall off when im drivin
by the way m luvin ur re-trim.if u live in bham i'll be happy to pay u 2 do mine?
