    hey ive got a mr2 y reg vtr and im lookin to decat it.
    which brand manifolds are the best?
    also will they fit onto a vts as im saving up for a vts so will be swapping it between the two.

    Well there is a raceland manifold which is cheap at around £140, but to fit it to a mk2 you must move the oil filter, which is a bit of a pain! Not hard, just a pain.

    There is the janspeed, which i have. Its expensive at £300, but it fitted straight on, and gave me good gains.

    There is the GMC. This is a 4-1. Whereas the others are 4-2-1. The 4-1's tend to make their power further up the rev range. This is a good piece of kit, and is about £200 iirc.

    Then there the supersprint, again, this is a good manifold, and doesnt require relocation of the oil filter. This is the one i would go for if i had the choice.

    no it wont fit a vts,if your planning on getting a vts soon no point getting on the vtr

    so none of the decat manifolds will fit a vtr and vts?

    thats correct, the port holes are spaced differently on the two cars.

    hi i know you probably think im thick but my car has been de cated but i dont think the manifold has been changed. they just cut if off and welded i strait pipe on to it. do i need to change the manifold??
