VTS billowing white smoke urgent Help!!!

  1. #1
on the way home from work my mk1 vts was billowing white smoke under hard acceleration. when i got home i checked the collant level its fine. theres no leaks. And the temperature gauge was sitting quarter of the way up no issues there. So cant be a head gasket.

Only thing i have done is install a raceland forced induction kit.

The car also has a decat pipe

    Any help much appreciated

White smoke is oil is it not?

or is that blue, damn it i can never remember which one is which!

    Lol, wrong way around.

I would like to think that the white smoke was just condensation, but it doesn't sound like it in this case. Is this the first time this has happened? I'm trying to think why it would only happen under full throttle...

did you give the car time to warm up?
sounds like condensation when the cars cold to me

rcd.. blue smoke on start up of over 2.5k revs is oil burning.. fool

as hecky said.. does it dissapear after 10 mins? if not it may be a sign of headgasket... tho thats if its very thick

Left the car sitting while i had dinner. Moved it into the garage. finding a large trail of oil behind me. i jacked it up Oil all over the place.

From on top of the gearbox to the sump right down to the backbox.

    Covered in oil.

Turns out i over filled the engine with oil and blocked the breather pipe. Causing backpressure.

Drained some oil out. Refitted my old induction kit sorted the breather pipe took it for a blast no white smoke
