    i wanna fit a 306 gti-6 gear box onto a vts engine this year for my project car, if any one knows anything about this your help would b great

    i wanted to do this last year when a so called mate blew my gearbox for me!

    but i dont think it can be done mate, unfortunately!!!

    BE box can be fitted to instead of the MA box, however six box is larger & can have clearance issues!

    i dont know of anyone fitting a gti6 gearbox on a vts lump but a few people have dropped gti6 engine and gearboxes into 106/saxos but have had bad clearence due to the 6 speed gearbox casing being longer, bits of the wheel arch needed cutting away and then after it was fitted the turning circle of the car was crap because the wheel would hit the gearbox casing

    i think it can be done, as there was a picture posted showing how little room there was.

    can be done.. just need to get hold of custom mounts, shafts, custom bell housing...
    fab up you own shifter setup
    oh and you wont have hardly any lock any more when steering.
