#2yes the electric mirror switchers are on a removeable part of the doorcard so you can simply put them in your new cars
ive had mine on and off a few times -
#3so if i buy these, a dont need to cut anything or bodge anything to get them on and look nice?
-
#4nope as long as its a saxo doorcard
cause the part the switch is on is held down by a screqw in the bottom
and if you undo that u can lift the unit out of the doorcard
just unplug it
and then the card can be removed
fit the new card
reconnect ur morror switch
and screw down
happy days -
#5as person having them off was told u need to cut it to fit, its on a mk2 vts atm, an actual saxo card but has the lil thing you move mirrors by hand
-
#6i wudnt no if its not a saxo card
depends on what there off -
#7it's a re trimmed saxo door card from a VTR
not sure if the electric mirror bit will fit straight into an S because of the switch -
#8it should be fine then as the hole is the same sixe in the card
thats why the little flat bit where the switch sits is still there on cars without electric mirrors -
#10never even tried it was told by someone we know with a saxo
-
#11if its a retrimmed saxo card it should just drop in mate
-
#12You will have to cut the hole Gaz. The VTR card doesn't have a slot for the electric mirrors iirc, so you will have to make one. That or change to manual...
-
#13they do fit mate
ive compared mine to a vtr
the hole in the doorcards are identical
trust me -
#14on mine, both sides are same, on drivers i have the controlls, and on passenger its just blank , but same size hole
