Fitting MK2 Induction kits...

  1. #1
Been looking around for awhile now at all the different options available for me but i narrowed it down to a few!

    BMC CDA simple to fit!

    or

Raceland closed induction or Green Forced air induction kit!

This is where i need to help!

It seems that fitting theese to a MK2 that they just sit behind the slam panel and radiator with no real gap for air flow! Where these designed for MK1's?

    REP left!

Sorry if this is abit of a retarded question! Ino alot of you have them so if they where really that crap you prob wouldnt but they just seem to be in a weird position!

I no that alot of people have them on their cars and they obv do the job but they are known to be a bitch to fit, which is it you really wna go for? There is a guide on here on how to fit it but if you really couldnt be bothered going through with the hassle better off going for the BMC. Hope thats abit of help lol

It took me ages to fit my raceland to my saxo (mark2).

    Cable ties and bolts ftw.

mine gets a nice air flow, but it could be seen to be restricted.

imo id go for raceland, heard bmc arnt all that, and for the extra 70 quid i think, i dont think it would be worth it..

Get a raceland... really not that hard to fit, the only thing you have to do is move the power steering filler thingy lol! Just move it to the right a bit and drill a new hole for it to fit against the slam panel

I have a Furio so my power steering reservoir is right on the pump itself! Looks just how i thought right infront of the slam bar! Thanks for the pic, rep left too! First photo ive ever seen of a raceland from a angle other than above!

Mine goes into the breather too, if you look closely at the picture you can see the yellow pipe loops round. The reason for this is that I couldn't bend the pipe to go straight in without putting a kink in it, so I just looped it down and back up again
