New turbo time your opinions

    Right I think my gtti turbos oil seals have gone and trying to find a rebuild kit or another turbo is a mare. Common sense would say T2 but hard finding them aswell.

    No T25 or T3 would my enigne even spool the bastards up at all? would get a GT15 but they only seem to come on VAG diesels, which to my knowledge is a no no on disel ones

    GT15 should be fine on a petrol, a fair few diesels use generic turbos like the GT15 which can be used on petrol and diesel engines, it's the diesel specific turbos that you need to steer wide of mr wan

    ah hat Zustimmung Herr robinson, den ich das nicht gekannt habe, einen gt15 von einem vw gefunden, damit alle gut sowohl das als Ein ab einem moder vauxhall Diesel sein sollten

    Worth asking garrett via email gav, i'm pretty certain a GT15 is a GT15 though and is suitable for use on anything.

    ah god knows like haha!! basically gt15 from a vw has been found if that doesnt come off then one off a modern vauxhall diesesl should be ok

    Why not send the turbo off too someone like TD and get it rebuilt?

    wont know if turbo or a ring until monday when we do another comp test and take turbo off. If the engine has gone bbye bye then will kick plan b into action and have a safe 150bhp
