vtr service

   looking to give my 2003 saxo vtr a service - filters, plugs, leads etc
   
   just wondering where's best place to get the parts? dealer? or is unipart ok

   Just go down to your local Halfords
   
   Oil filer is around £7
   
   Spark Plugs £20ish
   
   etc.....if not ive found Autoquip a good place to go.....if u have one around your area.....alot cheaper then Halfords aswell

   i got spark plugs for ma vtr on ebay at £1.49 each.

   sounds good, well i get trade discount at halfords plus unipart/partco is often about same price to be honest. oil filter for my astra was £1.09
   
   will be spending extra when it comes to engine oil of course, but just wanted to make sure i'm ok using the above parts/places and wouldn't be better off using dealer parts or even performance parts..? which i know won't make any noticeable difference performance wise... just wanna keep things running tip top!
