another silly raceland question

   just brought a new manifold for my vts. Was wondering if anyone had a pic of it fitted??? also as you all know there is a valve or something of somesort mounted on top of the factory manifold???? what can i do with it???

   the lambda sensor??? needs to go into the new manifold if it is this your talking about

   no its a system for re processing exhaust fumes i believe but im not sure it is an actual unit that isnt attached but sits on top of the manifold in front of the rocker cover

   im not sure either, can you post a pic up of it when you get chance, is it actually on the manifold.

   EGR Valve is it not although im pretty sure you only get them on dizeasals. If its not connected up just take it off. Wont do any harm i wouldnt have thought if like you say it isnt connected up

   if i remember isnt it a plastic black unit that has 2 pipes going into, some kind of breather or something, if it is then it should be ok to remove it as my is missing but my mate has one on his vts.

   True could be the breather pipe, because im almost certain you only get EGR Valves on Diesel Cars.
   
   If your removing it id make sure that wherever you disconnect it from, put a breather filter on it or you will have mass amount of oil leakage

   mine just has open breather pipes at the mo til i get round to getting one but makes an awesome roar when i boot it. Abit silly leaving them open though, must be loosing power through this.

    with the valve i just un did it and moved it out the way to fit the manifold then put it back when finished.

    Do you have to re-locate the oil filter when fitting a raceland? or is this only the VTR?

    Its fitted to the 01+ vts, it makes the emissions less on start up!
    
    Can be removed & the hole blanked off!

    its only on the 8v models which have the cat in the manifold including the Mk2 VTR
    
    The 8v piper and supersprint offerings don't need any relocation at all

    ye that box thing is a EGR type thing that puts gases back into engine
    
    only the newer vts's have it..
