£8.5k.... Not that much!! About £6k but i have had 4 engines! Then 3 exhausts, two manifolds... etc! All adds up!

    Need a new gearbox....

Atleast im getting a free respray

Rcd how much you plannin on spending on your car? As labour is obviously free, i would like to see what power you can actually make, with your moderated engine.

We havnt planned a budget, just however much it costs really.

A full cost breakdown will only available when its finished and i can cost it up.

At a rough guess, the engine mods, like you say excluding our labour, ammount to around £2500-£3000

In all fairness, i feel you are branding power figures and slating other companies saying they are overcharging when you have not produced any work yourself. You and luthor both admit you have not had much experience with TU engines and i feel that you should maybe reign back a little with some of the bold statements you are making.

So are you going for boddies? Because you are aiming to make 170bhp? That will be hard to achieve with a standard plenum unless ur on power engineerings rollers

been basically saying everyone has been ripped off for paying XXX work on a car when they can do it cheaper and give better results. Hence saying just reign it in a tad until they have the work to back it up.
