Headlights

I have just bought the smoked headlights for the mk2 vtr which look good on my icelandic grey car but i want my headlights to be a bright white colour rather than the yellow kinda colour they look now. I wanted a hid conversion but heard you can only get that for the angel eye versions as they have to be projectors or they blind the traffic coming the other way. if this is the case, is there another way i can get a bright white light, like on newer cars.....audi, bmw etc.
If the best i can do is get new bulbs then a list of different peoples suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks

You can get HID's for normal lights. You can't use HID's with Angel eyes.

^^ what david said.. hids on angels melt the ring so i hear..

they dont melt the ring they melt the outside lense and crack. trust... i know LOL

Supposed to use HID through a projector coz you can aim the beam but you should be fine with them!

Get some xenon bulbs from Rimstyle, 50% brighter and 100% legal

Xenon Bulbs have standard fittings. Shown as followes:

    Headlights: H4
    Fog Lights: H1
    Sidelights : 501 Bulbs

I fitted some Ice Blue ones on the weekend. Easy enough to fit. Tells you all you need to know in the User Manual.
