Whats it worth???

   How much is this lot worth?
   
   Port & polished head, my bp300's, solid lifters, hasnt done any miles, all brand new. Reciepts for them all.
   
   Brand new the cams are £500, solid lifters are £400.
   
   The solid lifters have been shimmed to the correct valve clearances. Brand new valves, valve stem seals etc.
   
   Just thinking about selling my current setup above to get a bv head with wilder cams

   Who did the head and what was actually done to it? How much did it cost?

   hiflowheads did the head. It was just rebuilt & port & polished.

   I duno mate, depends whos in the market for them at the time. Would say £1000 but then that seems a bit high. Just put a decent price on them in the clasifieds on a few different sites and state that your open to offers? Maybe someone will make a decent one?

   heard bad things about hiflowheads so doubt ull get as much as u expect mate

   i know every1 says bad things about hiflowheads but they cant be as bad as people make them out 2 b otherwise they wouldnt still be going would they?!?!
   
   Anyway, thats a different story, im not after info on them.
   
   The head also has double valve springs in it - them and solid lifters are a must for big power & high revving engines.
   
   I even have a reciept for the machining of the shims.

    I wouldn'd rush into this one mate. Have you any proof that you require bigger valves? As your current head has been flowed, ported etc, it's likely to be pretty suffice.

    reason im not a fan of hiflow is due to the HIGH cost for them. So that isnt a problem if someone is buying it second hand.
